Five million people in the UK get their electricity and gas from E.ON. Worldwide, the figure’s around 33million. That’s equivalent to the entire population of Canada. Surprised? Then how about this: as well as being one of the world’s top energy companies, we’re also one of the industry’s leading innovators.
By delivering better energy solutions, we’re aiming to make the world of energy cleaner and more efficient. Every day, we work on challenging projects. Pursue ambitious goals. And strive for sustainable solutions. That’s not just good news for customers – it’s good for you too.
Our business spans Power Generation, Climate & Renewables, Energy Solutions and more. We have 16 onshore and 5 offshore wind farms. We're also a partner in the world's largest offshore wind farm, the London Array. We have biomass plants at Lockerbie and Blackburn Meadows and the first wave power generator in the UK.
And that’s only the start. We've got plans to produce a lot more renewable energy very soon – at least 1,500MW more. Meanwhile, our Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants are busy producing energy more efficiently than traditional power plants.
So why join us? Whatever drives you, whatever inspires you, you’ll enjoy the feeling of moving forward. You’ll get to take responsibility, make decisions and grow personally and professionally. You’ll be connected to everything that’s happening in an ever-changing sector. If you’re as excited about the future as we are, there’s no telling how far you’ll go.
