E.ON

I like E.ON’s company ethos of ‘wanting to improve people’s lives’ and ‘embracing change’ which enables me to fulfil my career ambition of doing something that is rewarding but most importantly meaningful. For example, E.ON have invested more than 10 billion pounds in renewable energy to support environmental issues globally. I also value how E.ON distinguish themselves from their competitors by placing the customer at the heart of everything they do as I have always been very people orientated and would like to think that I can make a positive impact upon people’s lives.

After graduation I worked in Recruitment for 6 months and then travelled around South East Asia and Australia for four months. On return, I attended E.ON’s Assessment day and was really pleased when asked to join the Solutions team in a temporary interim position until the graduate scheme commences.

I have begun working as a Solutions Consultant who looks at energy solutions to improve energy efficiency for medium and large businesses. In my role I am responsible for conducting research and; contacting and identifying businesses who may be able to benefit from energy saving solutions prior to arranging a further discussion with specialists.

Best Bit? The Assessment day where I had the opportunity to conduct a 10 minute presentation through using visual aids i.e. infographic and flipcharts.
