There are various reasons why I like E.ON, the first being the services we provide ad our ability to look to the future when thinking of new products and services for our customers. Having attended one of our Customer Immersion sessions whilst on my summer placement, it was great to see how we listen to our customers in order to improve our services. I applied for the scheme due to my passion and interest in the energy industry, growing up with family working in oil and gas it was always a topic of conversation. Another reason for applying to E.ON was due to the work being done to create new energy solutions along with the great feedback I had heard from others in regard to the scheme being an amazing learning experience. Whilst on my summer placement I’ve been working on a project that focuses on the demand that comes into our HR teams which has been challenging at times but a great learning curve and interesting project. The best part of my scheme has been the amazing teams I’ve worked with, E.ON has a very inclusive workplaces in which all teams welcome you to join them to learn about their areas which I something that’s really valuable whilst at university and deciding what areas of your area you want to develop in.
