I applied to Eurostar because I wanted to work for an international company where I could combine both aspects of my degree (business and languages). I also wasn't sure which business area suited me best so Eurostar's two-year programme really appealed to me as it gives you the opportunity to rotate around four areas, including two rotations based in France.
My first rotation is at the Temple Mills Engineering depot, where I am working in the planning team within operations. My first project is to map out the maintenance processes which are undertaken by the planning and production teams, including how they communicate and how data is logged and tracked, and then I will identify and implement improvements to make the processes more efficient.
I have learnt a lot in my first couple of weeks, including lots of technical vocabulary which was initially challenging, but I am enjoying it so far and I am looking forward to what's to come. Even though I have not been here long I can tell that Eurostar is a great company to work for, I feel very supported and the perks are amazing!
