Eurostar

When I first came across Eurostar’s Graduate Programme on LinkedIn I couldn’t believe it. Having been bombarded with finance and consultancy graduate scheme ads, I was able to find something different and more suited to my profile. Growing up with both French and British nationalities, I had been on the Eurostar countless times and I had always loved the service which the company provides. I had a great feeling about this opportunity.

The application process was straightforward and researching the company along the way fuelled my motivation to work there. The assessment day is what really sold it for me – all the employees were super friendly; the tasks were challenging but very interesting and meeting graduates from the year before was a great way to get a real feel for what the programme was like.

It is safe to say that since joining in September, I have loved every minute. My first six-month rotation as part of the graduate programme is in Paris, in the Marketing department. I'm working closely with the social media team as well as on several exciting projects to gather and deliver content in new, innovative ways. The responsibility and trust we are given from the beginning is extraordinary and therefore very inspiring. We are very lucky to be able to do four six-month rotations in different locations and departments which will no doubt have a huge positive impact on our understanding of the business and skill set development.

The ongoing training offered by Eurostar as part of the Graduate Programme is excellent and the modules are extremely relevant and interesting. If you have any doubts or questions, anyone you come across is willing to help. People at Eurostar are extremely friendly and welcoming which creates a great working environment.
