Engineering Graduate Programme
Why choose Eurostar?
Eurostar is at the cutting edge of rail engineering and we pride ourselves with working with industry leading suppliers and consultancies. With our two fleets of high speed trains, you will have the chance to use your engineering knowledge to deliver innovative solutions and help Eurostar become Europe’s most loved travel experience.
Two decades ago, we changed the way people travel from the UK to Paris and Brussels forever. We are the only high-speed train that directly links the UK to France, Belgium and the Netherlands and since 1994 we have carried over 170 million passengers.
Today, we have created a generation of travellers who think nothing of hopping on the train after breakfast and relaxing in a Parisian bistro by lunchtime.

Our Engineering Graduate Programme
The Railway Industry has a lot to offer to graduate engineers and our two-year programme has been designed to give you a balanced blend of personal and professional development.
We are proud to offer an accredited programme that follows the guidelines of the Rail Delivery Group and provides a quality route to achieving Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer registration with the Engineering Council UK.
During the programme, you will mainly be based in our Engineering Centre near Stratford and you will spend your time working on projects within our experienced Mechanical and Electrical engineering teams. Through a variety of placements, you will become competent in the field of traction and rolling stock engineering, maintenance, operation, specification and procurement.
While you are on the programme, you will get involved in a mix of office-based and operational activities and will be guided by our qualified engineers. In addition, you will be mentored by an external mentor who will be selected by the Rail Delivery Group. Please note that you might be required to work on night shifts as part of your placements.
