We look to attract outstanding pupils from whom we can recruit future members of chambers. We are open to applications from candidates of all backgrounds who will be assessed by reference to their motivation, intellectual qualities, advocacy skills, character and personality.
We expect our pupils to work hard whilst in pupillage, and to be rewarded with a stimulating and enjoyable year. We treat pupillage as part of the education process, and our aim is to equip you after 12 months to embark on a specialist practice in property law. Where we are not able to recruit one of our pupils we work hard to ensure that they obtain a tenancy or a further period of pupillage in other chambers.
What we offer
Up to two 12-month pupillages each year, funded at the rate of up to £60,000 per annum, with up to £20,000 available to be drawn down in the BPTC year. In addition, in their second six months, pupils can expect to earn some additional income from their own work.
What we look for
Pupils who combine intellectual strength with strong advocacy potential.
How to apply
Applications for pupillage in Falcon Chambers should be made on chambers’ own application form by (provisional date) 31 December 2016 (for pupillage 2018). Please monitor the website as this may be subject to change.
