"The hours you work depend on your department; in Corporate and Finance, for example, you will generally be required to work long hours but in IP this is less likely."

"There is no real hours culture here. If you do not have any work, go home at 5:30pm. If you have no work, and you are sticking around, then no one is going to look at you any better. If you have private appointments to make, supervisors are incredibly understanding, and in my experience they allow you to manage your schedule through coordination with colleagues. It's a team effort."

"Some departments work long hours but usually they are quite variable. I have sometimes worked until 3:00am but on other occasions I have left at 5:30pm. Flexibility varies per department - sometimes good, sometimes not so good."

"I generally work good hours compared to my peers at other firms. Some departments (e.g. Corporate) are a bit less predictable."
