"My normal hours are 8:00am-4:00pm. I have experienced night shifts but rarely work on weekends. Some days you are required to travel outside these hours."
Graduate, Derby
"Flexibility works both ways with my employer. Employees can adjust their schedule by a couple of hours as required, but conversely, employees are often expected to work unsociable hours (i.e. early start or late finish) to meet business requirements."
Graduate, Glasgow
"The company is flexible but I work the hours needed to do the job. Because of the nature of the job this can sometimes mean very early starts or very early finishes."
Midlevel, Manchester
"The amount of flexibility you have in your hours depend on the role. Within my role specifically - I am very flexible but generally depend on the requirement of my projects. I plan them within reason to make it work for me and the depot where I work. Some of my projects run Friday and Saturday nights so at times I need to come in and resolve any issues or introduce new elements, etc."
Midlevel, Reading
"The company is relatively flexible, however in general you are expected to be available and work long hours."
Graduate, Weston Super Mare
"On the graduate scheme, office hours are very flexible. However, now I am in a full-time position and the hours I work have increased hugely."
Graduate, Manchester
"The hours you do will depend on your boss and where you work - I work in a back office role and my boss is very flexible in this sort of thing. If you work closer to the front-line you are likely to be on shift work - with set hours."
