Fourteen offers two 12-month pupillages each year. Pupils will have the opportunity to see a wide range of family law cases, including public and private children law, family finance, international family law and the Court of Protection.
Each pupil will be allocated 3 pupil supervisors during their 12-month pupillage. They will be expected to accompany members of chambers to court. Chambers provides an advocacy-training programme for all our pupils.
For 2018 our pupillage award will be £24,000. This will be supplemented by work done in the second 6 months of pupillage. Over the past 3 years the average earnings of our pupils in the second 6 months of pupillage has been £12,500. We also fund any training that pupils are required to take.
We have a strong track record of recruiting tenants from our pupils. Our reputation is such that those pupils who are not recruited can usually find good tenancies elsewhere.
