Yet while all our beers and pubs are crafted with this same passion, care and attention to detail, they each stand proudly on their own too - celebrated for their individuality and unique character.
This also holds true for our people - with the varied talents of our teams the driving force behind nigh-on two centuries of success.
The Fuller’s family
Fuller’s may have been around for more than 170 years, but we have a very modern attitude to inclusiveness, equality and diversity.

Home-grown talent is very important to Fuller’s. One in 12 of our team members is undertaking one of our 13 development programmes - and for a company of around 4,000 employees, that’s a very wide range of tailored initiatives. We now have a complete development journey for every employee, from shop floor to senior manager.
Our family values go beyond just looking after our own though. We recognise our role in the wider community, too.
Across the company, we raised more than £200,000 for charities last year, including a donation of almost £50,000 to Shooting Star Chase, a children’s hospice charity working with more than 600 families in West London.
Fuller’s also provide long-standing support to the Seafarers Charity (who benefit from a £5 donation for each barrel of Seafarers sold), resulting in a donation of £30,000 last year.
As well as making financial donations to a range of other charities at local and national level, we also sponsor and support numerous community events through the provision of prizes or sponsorship.
This happens right throughout our business – at Cornish Orchards in Duloe, Cornwall, at Horndean in Hampshire where our southern distribution hub is based, at Chiswick around The Griffin Brewery and throughout our pub estate.
Fuller’s is also committed to responsible retailing and care for the environment, with a dedicated “green team” seeking to reduce energy and water waste both at the brewery and in our pubs.
During the last financial year, gas usage in the brewery has reduced by 10% and the installation of solar panels has also helped to reduce our electricity consumption from the grid. LED lighting has also now been rolled out in the majority of our pubs.
It’s part of our ongoing commitment to taking pride and care in everything we do - which, ultimately, is exactly what it means to be Fuller’s.
