2019 Graduate Development Programme
Fuller’s is a business with fabulous history and heritage, and the Brewery’s 2019 Graduate Development Programme gives you the opportunity to be a leading light in its bright future too.
It’s a flexible 24 -30 month programme starting in September 2019, designed for exceptional graduates with the passion, drive and ambition to become the future leaders of our business.
Following an initial month-long induction, you’ll be given the chance to discover a range of roles across the business during a series of three and six month placements.
We’ll choose your first year placements for you, giving you exposure to all areas of our business. Following that, the rest of the programme will be tailored to your individual career goals.
You could be launching Shakespeare in the Garden in our pubs, promoting and educating team members on London Pride with our free trade customers, reviewing the food offer in our City pubs or even applying the science of brewing in the brewhouse itself.
You’ll learn on the job and discover what it is you love. And whether that’s a burning ambition to be a brewer, a successful operations manager in our terrific pub business or a high-achieving marketing executive, we’ll help you make it happen.
This flexibility and variety is what makes Fuller’s Graduate Development Programme so unique – and so appealing even to those who haven’t fully decided on their career path just yet.
How we support you
Throughout your placements, you will meet your programme and support manager for monthly catch-ups and attend regular training events and workshops both at the Brewery and externally.
After six months, you will also receive a mentor – a Fuller’s senior manager who will aid your development as you begin to focus on the areas you may wish to pursue for your full-time role.
Home-grown talent is very important to us at Fuller’s, with a strong emphasis on personal development right across the business. We’ll support your ambitions, encourage you to grow and provide a working environment that gives you everything you need to excel.
What are we looking for?
You will be an academic high achiever, graduating with a minimum 2:1 (in any subject) and supported with high graded A levels or equivalent. Alongside your qualifications, you’ll also need to display excellent team-working skills, sound judgement and natural leadership qualities. Our successful graduates have had some form of work experience, be this paid, internship, industrial placement or volunteering.
Ultimately, we’re looking for people who communicate well, influence effectively, and embody Fuller’s philosophy and values.
