The Security Intern will work closely alongside senior team members who will be able to help with advice and troubleshooting.  Due to the investment the company makes in IT and Security systems, there will be plenty of opportunities to develop knowledge of cutting-edge technologies within the security arena. This role will suit someone who has a real interest in information security and IT infrastructure in general, and a demonstrable aptitude for applying theoretical computing concepts and their skills to solve real problems.

Introduction and Training

Your first two weeks will consist of comprehensive in-house training. It is essential that you become accustomed to our user environment and IT infrastructure in order to progress and feel confident working within the team. This period consists of hands-on training, learning our day-to-day systems as well as attending theoretical seminars in relation to how our systems work and who is responsible for each aspect.

Following the successful completion of this you will be integrated into the Information Security team working alongside a mentor and members of the senior team who will provide support.  Progress reviews and updates will be undertaken regularly.
