Graduate Surveyor

Graduate Surveyor - Opportunities at Grosvenor

As an international group, Grosvenor brings together people from different professional disciplines and cultures to create value in our world's top cities. We recruit, develop and mentor people who are ambassadors for our brand, who share our values and who have the skills and ambition to help us implement our strategy. Each year we select a handful of graduates to join our international business, to learn, grown and contribute to our privately owned property group. Whether managing our prestigious 300 acre London estate or working on developments from one of our 17 offices around the world, our graduates are fully involved from day one.

The Grosvenor International Graduate Programme

The Grosvenor International Graduate Programme is a three year programme designed to provide our Graduate Surveyors with broad and international experience in all aspects of the property industry. We offer an opportunity for graduates to start their career ‘client-side’, with greater levels of responsibility than might be found elsewhere.

The breadth of experience gained through varied rotations in our diverse business provides a comprehensive introduction to working in property and the necessary competencies to achieve the APC and qualify as a RICS accredited Surveyor. Previous rotations within the business have included Development, Fund Management, Project Management, Asset Management, Investment and Financial Analysis. Our graduates have the opportunity to work on our diverse property portfolio and are involved with a broad range of tasks and responsibilities, such as performing due diligence for new potential development projects, preparing project briefs and business plans, conducting research and analysis, rent reviews, asset and property management, lease renewals and negotiating with tenants, lease holders and other stakeholders.

One of the ways in which we help our graduates to develop an international property career is to offer the opportunity to move between Grosvenor’s International Operating Companies in Europe, Asia and the Americas. During the programme, graduates could find themselves working in Vancouver, San Francisco, Paris, Milan or another of our locations.

We offer ten places on the Summer Intern Programme each year, based in our London office in Mayfair. Applications open in October 2016 and the application deadline is 28 February 2017.

Our Intern Programme in June/July 2017 will enable successful candidates to be considered for a graduate role to begin in either September 2017 or September 2018.
