What is Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability in GSK?

What is the Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability scheme?
This 3 year rotational programme will aim to accelerate your early career development through diverse experiences that will put you on the path for a future EHSS leadership role. You’ll experience challenging job rotations, which will be complemented by formal learning, coaching and mentoring from the Lead Team.
We will give you a breadth of experience in the core areas of our EHSS model, including EHSS Services, Business-embedded EHSS functions, and the EHSS Technical Centre of Excellence. We will also give you the opportunity to spend time outside of EHSS in a different function where you can gain experience closer to our customers. Your experience may be across different areas such as Research & Development, Commercial, Manufacturing, or other relevant business areas. The aim is to accelerate your early career development through diverse experiences and put you on the path for a future leadership role at GSK within the EHSS community and beyond.
During each rotation, you will develop a range of business and technical competencies and world class leadership skills. On top of this you will develop a broad understanding of EHSS through breadth and knowledge of our different business areas, such as manufacturing or R&D, and technical specialisms such as performance coaching, resilience, process safety, sustainability, occupational hygiene and health management.
What do I need to succeed?
In order to be successful on the programme, you will need to have a passion for people and the environment, as well as a commitment to the health and wellbeing of our workforce. Additionally, we value organizational skills, enthusiasm, taking responsibility and working to deadlines. We are also looking for people who are customer driven, can build strong relationships and are able to adopt a flexible thinking approach.
