You will need the skill and confidence to communicate your insights, clearly and credibly, to the wider business. Our Data Science pathway will embed you in one of our core businesses (Pharma / Consumer) with the possibility of rotations in other areas of our business (such as analytics), provide tailored development, training opportunities and a global network to engage with thought leaders within GSK.

As part of the programme you will help the Consumer business to create a world call FMCG Tech Organization which enables our business to deliver value through innovation and efficiency.
- Pharma Tech’s ambition is to be innovation led, performance driven and values based. Our goal is to provide digital solutions to support the pharma business moving forward and as part of the programme you will us develop innovative digital solutions which positively effect patient health globally.
Our ideal candidate:
You'll need ambition, a genuine passion for technology and the healthcare industry, and a proactive self-motivated approach. We’re looking for clear and effective communicators who can quickly build rapport with people from various levels of the organisation. It’s also important that you can adapt to change and keep focused when the pressure is on. You’ll be a real team player who actively collaborates with others. In addition, you’ll need an analytical and conceptual mind along with a talent for multi-tasking and the ability to influence others.
Our ideal candidate will have a flair for analytical and logical problem solving. You will need to demonstrate a genuine interest and understanding of how Big Data can be used to drive new and innovative insights and that you have worked with large data sets.
In Data Science, we look for a quantitative degree (maths, economics, statistics, data science or computer science) or a degree with quantitative components (engineering, science, business management, data science and computer science degrees). You must have or expect to obtain in 2018 a minimum of a 2.1 in one of these quantitative degrees.
