Campus Ambassador

An award-winning disputes team. World-class corporate practice. Top-tier sector specialists. At Herbert Smith Freehills, you’ll be a part of everything. We’re one of the world's leading law firms, working with some of the biggest international organisations, on some of their most ambitious projects. We’re looking for Campus Ambassadors to join us as the face of our firm.

First year students can apply to take on the Campus Ambassador role during their second year of study. As a Campus Ambassador you’ll need the passion and communication skills to inspire other students, both in person and on social media. In doing this, you’ll help your peers plan for their future careers by educating them on the wealth of opportunities available at Herbert Smith Freehills. This opportunity will give you invaluable insight into the workings of our firm and the chance to start building your own legal network.

Each of our Ambassadors attend a training day at our London office where you’ll meet senior members of our team, including partners, associates and trainees who are alumni from your university. After that, you’ll be actively involved in putting together a campaign to promote Herbert Smith Freehills on campus. It’s a fantastic way to hone important transferable skills, gain valuable work experience and find out more about the firm. You'll also receive financial rewards throughout the year for your efforts.

You don’t need to study law to be one of our Campus Ambassadors. In fact, we welcome students from a wide range of academic backgrounds. We’re really looking for people who are academically strong, can demonstrate initiative and are confident and willing to get involved in university life. At interview stage, we’ll also need you to show us why you’re interested in Herbert Smith Freehills in particular, and how you think we can improve our presence on campus.

It’s never too early to start thinking about becoming a brilliant lawyer.

Applications for our Campus Manager roles will be open for first year students from any discipline from 1 January – 20 March 2018.

To apply, you’ll need to complete our online application form and online verbal reasoning test. If you meet our criteria, we’ll invite you to an interview at our offices.
