Hymans Robertson LLP

Brighter futures aren’t down to chance

At Hymans Robertson we’re proud to deliver award winning independent advice on pensions, benefits, risk and insurance.

We work with a wide range of clients and our solutions give companies, trustees and members everything they need for brighter pensions prospects.

The pension and benefits landscape is undergoing huge change which will affect every working person. Hymans Robertson is well positioned to influence this change positively and proactively by providing valuable commercial solutions which will make a genuine impact on peoples’ lives, well-being and financial security for the longer term.

And at the heart of it all are our relationships – with our clients and colleagues. We form genuine, collaborative relationships that last. We are steadfastly independent in every possible way, from our ownership, through to our advice.

This is what allows us to put clients at the heart of our business and provide them with the advice and solutions that truly meet their needs. It also means that we encourage all our consultants to be individuals, to think freely, challenge the way things are done, and offer up the best possible solutions for our clients and the firm.

Take the next step…

If you’re interested in one of our consultancy programmes - graduate, summer internship or placement year - then you’ll need to have a passion for business, be enthusiastic about working in financial services and possess a strong blend of technical and interpersonal skills in order to succeed. You’ll also have a strong connection with our four core values: friendly, partnering, confident and straightforward.

Our work has a huge impact on peoples’ lives and we offer career opportunities that will excite and challenge you more than you imagined. We want you to grow your career in a way that suits you, so you can make the best of your skills and thrive from day one.

Ours is a culture rich in continuous learning and opportunity. Whether it is professional qualifications, new legislation, new technology, new client accounts or a new role we firmly believe in helping support our employees to develop their skills and knowledge.

We work hard but we want you to enjoy being here and to thrive outside of work too. Our Staff Social Committees organise lots of great events that help us to have fun together, while focusing on appreciation, recognition and wellbeing.

From the start you’ll work as part of a team and take on responsibility. We’ll provide you with hands on training and apply your mathematical and analytical skills to solve real business problems in order to provide tailored solutions to our clients. You’ll analyse complex data and present results of calculations and sophisticated modelling in an engaging and compelling way to help our clients make the best possible decisions.

As a graduate trainee consultant with us you’ll also get comprehensive and personalised support with your professional studies as you work towards the Actuarial or the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification. You’ll have generous study leave and a study mentor to help you through the exams.

We’ll work with you to make sure that you make the most of your potential.

Because everyone should have the best prospects for a bright career, and you shouldn’t leave that to chance.
