Humanities Teaching Assistant, West Yorkshire
At i-teachers, we are currently looking for ambitious Humanities graduates, with a 2:1 or above ideally from a Russell Group University, to work with us in a Teaching Assistant role. We have a number of roles in Secondary schools across West Yorkshire, including Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield.
You will have the opportunity to work across Humanities subjects, supporting Departments with running lessons and exam preparation for pupils. This is perfect exposure for anyone considering applying for a PGCE or other teacher training the following year.
All roles are paid positions, as well as the host schools offering an abundance of training and support to best prepare graduates for their future career in teaching.

In order to be successful, you must be an enthusiastic individual who possesses passion in Humanities and who would like to pass on knowledge of the subject in a Teaching Assistant role. You must have a clear understanding of where you want your career to go and be able to demonstrate progression whilst working with pupils. Your responsibilities will be to support pupils that need that extra push outside of the classroom on a 1:1 basis and small group sessions.
