Graduate Learning Mentor
- Positions starting September 2017 until July – 2018
- Up to 5x positions available
- Degree essential - ideally 2:1 or above
- Core subject degree – English, Maths, Science, Humanities
- Mon-Fri working hours
- Paid £300 per week

Graduate Learning Mentor – Person Specification
To be a graduate learning mentor you must be a confident communicator who can engage with youngsters of all abilities and backgrounds. You must be an emphatic person who can offer appropriate support to students who may have special educational needs. Ideally you have a core subject degree in English, Maths, Science or Humanities (Geography/History). You should have a 2:1 or above predicted for your degree and a strong passion for education.
Graduate Learning Mentor – About the role:
In this exciting Graduate Learning Mentor role you will be working closely with the class teachers. You will work with targeted students who need that extra push to achieve their full potential. You will also work closely with year 11’s on the run up to their GCSE’s. Full training and support will be provided including safeguarding, team teach and first aid. The school also holds weekly training sessions will you will take part in.
