ICAEW is a professional membership organisation that promotes, supports and regulates over 146,000 members who work in over 160 countries worldwide. Founded in 1880, ICAEW is a world leader in the accountancy and finance profession.

ICAEW’s chartered accountancy qualification, the ACA, is one of the most advanced learning and professional development programmes available. It has been specifically designed to make sure that you develop all the skills you need to get the best start to your career. The ACA combines work with study so you will have the opportunity to earn a salary while studying for a globally-recognised qualification. It typically takes 3-5 years to qualify and the good news is there’s more than one route to becoming an ICAEW Chartered Accountant. If you’re bright, ambitious and want to get your career off the ground early, school leaver, apprenticeship, ICAEW CFAB and AAT-ACA Fast Track programmes offer an exciting alternative to university.

Chartered accountants are valuable to any organisation, so you will have the flexibility to shape your career to suit your interests. As a fully-qualified chartered accountant you’ll be equipped to work in any organisation, in any industry sector, anywhere in the world.
