We are an ever growing firm, now boasting 13 offices worldwide, with our most recent office opening in Marseille in February 2017. Our number of people stands at over 500, including over 100 partners and more than 160 lawyers worldwide. The firm is continuing to develop, with a 16% year-on-year increase in turnover in 2016/17 and 100% of our trainees being offered an NQ position on qualification.

We have invested heavily in IT and infrastructure, supporting agile working and relocating to modern offices in London and Hong Kong, with employees now working from Surface Pro 4s.
Ince regularly hosts client events throughout the year in our dedicated client suites, including annual shipping and insurance parties; Ince also hosts events internally, including the annual black tie May Ball and monthly ‘Ince drinks’, which is a great opportunity to get to know people from across the firm.

We have four core sectors; Transport, Energy & Infrastructure and Insurance. Within these sectors we have a broad range of expertise, including EU law, competition and regulation, commercial disputes, insolvency and corporate recovery, emergency response, ports and maritime infrastructure. Our corporate and finance practice has grown significantly in recent years, and the firm has developed a strong transactional business to complement our dispute resolution work. Clients range from insurers, brokers and banks to oil and shipping companies, airlines, aircraft manufacturers, entrepreneurs and major international trading groups.
Ince sees things differently with around 70% of our partners having trained with us. We not only regard our trainees as future solicitors and potential partners, but our training programme is different too. With us you’ll get involved in real legal work from day one, with flexibility to work across different departments and retain the majority of your cases as you progress through your training.
Running during the Easter period, our two-week trainee recruitment placement scheme (TRPS) gives you a practical insight into life as an Ince trainee. We welcome a maximum of five people on the TRPS at any one time so that we can give you all the support you need. You will also work on real cases, which may involve attending court and hearings, meeting clients, drafting correspondence or doing legal research. Candidates who take part on the trainee recruitment placement scheme get an automatic interview for a training contract with us.
