“What made me apply to Jaguar Land Rover’s Graduate Programme was the fact that while working with two iconic brands, I’d also get to further my skills and industry knowledge and gain invaluable experience. I completed both a project management qualification and a Six Sigma course called the Green Belt Problem Solver, which I then applied back to my day-to-day job.
As part of the programme, I got to do a placement in manufacturing. It took me completely out of my comfort zone, which helped me learn a huge amount about working in a timed environment where time equals money and efficiency is everything. It was a great learning curve.
I also did a placement with Land Rover PR and got the chance to work on great projects, such as organising the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Red Cross, which Land Rover was sponsoring.”
