Today, with increasing demand and ever-growing ambition, we’re seeking the next generation of innovators who will capture the hearts and minds of customers in every corner of the world.
Our expanding undergraduate programmes reflect our commitment to finding and developing the future leaders of our business.
What to expect
We have fantastic opportunities for undergraduates to join three teams within our property department: Property Programmes, Property Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, and Workplace Accommodation.
Join the Property Programmes team, and you’ll help us to design, construct, handover and transition the new facilities – safely, on time and to the right quality and budget. Working across the full programme lifecycle, you’ll help to manage the development and delivery of our transformational new non-manufacturing buildings. You’ll identify programmes to deliver, capture the business’ requirements, and ensure the optimum solutions are selected to meet those needs.
If you join our Property Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) Construction team, you’ll be exposed to a multitude of projects varying in size and complexity − covering Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. You’ll also have the chance to support projects across our manufacturing plants and satellite sites. You’ll meet our internal customers to establish project briefs; set out a delivery plan for construction and engineering projects; and engage with our supply chain, to obtain tenders for our projects which we will reconcile both commercially and for compliance to specification.
Or you could join our Workplace Accommodation team, where you’ll support the evolution of our UK workplace portfolio. By introducing new facilities and refurbishing existing ones, you’ll take our 17,000 strong team in the West Midlands into a whole new workplace experience. Your strong organisational, interpersonal and digitalisation skills will see you involved in activities such as workplace projects, data capture and management.
With ongoing support from an expert team, not only will you gain valuable experience that will supplement your academic studies, but it could also act as a springboard to a future career with us.
