Interview Questions

"I was asked all the normal questions that you would expect about your previous experiences. Some of the questions were work related, but Johnson & Johnson also had lots of questions that were focused on personal experiences and questions about me. It’s useful to think about challenging situations that you have had in the past which will help you answer these questions."
Graduate, Inverness
"I was asked a wide range of questions, and there was a focus on company culture and the Credo. The STAR framework is useful to answer questions. The questions asked for information regarding leadership qualities and examples of work experience."
Graduate, Maidenhead
"I was asked why I wanted to work for Johnson & Johnson, which key skills I could bring to the role and how I could make a difference to the team that I would be working in."
Graduate, High Wycombe
"Most questions were based around situations where you displayed a required attribute/capability required for the job. These are best answered in the 'STAR' technique (Situation, Task, Action, Results). Be prepared to answer why you want to work for Johnson & Johnson and why you would be a good fit within the organisation."
Graduate, High Wycombe
"The interview consisted of a large amount of questions, so the main advice I have is to know yourself and your achievements well so you can answer behavioural questions easily. Being able to think of solutions on the spot and explaining how your approach works is also a plus."
Graduate, Diegem, Belgium

"I was asked to discuss certain times when I had shown leadership, innovation, and teamwork."
Finance, Graduate, Antwerp, Belgium
"I was asked several competency based and company based questions (e.g. why Lifescan? Why you? What can you bring to the company?), and some technical questions on data analysis techniques and presentation of results."
Graduate, Inverness
"There were four main parts to the interview - a competence based interview, a group project, a marketing strategy exercise and a short presentation on you. I found that the main focus was on whether you made decisions based on the right reasons, e.g. an ethical approach. I felt that they were really looking for enthusiasm, drive, the ability to work well in a team, and be organised, considerate and ethical."
