"Social lunches are encouraged most days, with new starters asked to come to lunch. Office lunches off-site are organised about four times a year, with evening events too. There are lots of opportunities to get involved in charitable activities like running and walks etc. Friendly open-plan seating means that there is lots of moving around and easy opportunities to get to know everyone fast. New starters are treated as similar as possible to full-time employees."

"The company's work culture is one of its greatest assets. Everyone gets along really well and are very friendly. There are some great after office hours sports socials going on, which are loads of fun to join. Anyone at any level can join making it all the better."
Placement Student, Maidenhead
"In the office everyone is extremely friendly; colleagues play sport together on a weekly basis and interns are encouraged to join in. Volunteering opportunities also occur weekly with bigger events happening every few months."
Placement Student, Blackpool
"The culture is great. Since the first day everyone has been so welcoming, helpful and a joy to work alongside. The interns are very close; we make sure we make the effort to do social activities outside work at least once a week."
Placement Student, High Wycombe
"The way they look after their employees goes further than I could ever imagine. My team have integrated and involved me through asking me questions related to work life at regular meetings and actively take an interest in my outside of work social activities. As a firm, it keeps the placement students up-to-date with regular company updates and provides an insight into what more the firm has to offer."
Placement Student, High Wycombe
"We are included in many social activities both in and outside of work. I have not met a single employee at this company who is not extremely welcoming and approachable."

"The culture in the office is very friendly and fairly relaxed but with a good working ethic. The team are keen to get to know you as a person and social team activities strengthen this. The hours are reasonable, with the opportunity for flexibility. During your placement year you remain within the same team so that you can gain strong working connections with team members and really master the role."

"It is a lovely working environment; everyone is very friendly, relaxed and willing to help no matter how stupid the question is. My first week was nerve-wracking but with everyone being so welcoming and caring it made me feel at ease and quickly part of an excellent team."
Intern, Leeds
"There is very little feeling of hierarchy at Johnson & Johnson, and the culture is very diverse and everyone is welcoming. All interns are included in the relevant team social activities, as well as marketing social activities as a whole."
Marketing, Intern, Maidenhead
"The culture of the office is reasonably relaxed, however, everyone still works hard. People are very sociable, and we often socialise out of work - I certainly feel part of the team."
Intern, Leeds
"In the office, the atmosphere is laid back, comfortable and relaxing. From my first day I have been made to feel welcome by everyone. Outside of work there are a lot of social activities, such as dinners, drinks and football, and other activities, and all of the interns are invited along to participate."
Intern, Leeds
"The company culture is that of a relaxed one in the office, as it's not a deeply embedded strict corporate culture. Although hierarchy somewhat exists, it is not made into something that deters all employees from engaging and communicating with each other with ease."
Intern, High Wycombe
"The company is very friendly. Although my department is extremely small, other departments include us in social activities, which is great."
Intern, Leeds
"Johnson & Johnson's culture is very flexible and caring. I feel at ease when providing my own opinion, speaking out and asking questions and I am made to feel like part of the team by being involved in team building activities as well as monthly progress meetings."
Intern, Wokingham
"I think that the culture at the company promotes a good work/life balance. If at any point an employee is having trouble finding a good balance between the two, my employer would always do everything in their power to make this possible."
Intern, High Wycombe
