What is Tax, Pensions and Legal Services?
We work closely with clients to build an understanding of, and approach to, their most pressing tax, pensions and legal services issues. You could find yourself meeting with HMRC, advising on merger & acquisition deals, providing guidance on international tax structuring or designing communication programmes to support a company’s pension strategy. No matter what you’re working on, you’ll spend plenty of time with clients, as well as working towards a professional qualification depending on the programme you choose.
KPMG’s Tax, Pensions and Legal Services practice is an excellent starting point for a successful business career. As a graduate, you could choose to hone your skills in Tax, Investment Advisory, Japan Practice in Tax, Pensions Actuarial or Pensions – Defined Contributions. The qualification you gain will vary depending on the programme, but could include the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification, studying towards becoming a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, ATT (Association of Tax Technicians) qualification, or a dual ICAS CA and Tax Professional Qualification (at KPMG Tax Business School®).
To apply, you’ll need to have or be on course for a 2:1 degree in any discipline with 300 UCAS points and a grade B or above in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalents)*. However, it’s not just your academic performance we’re interested in –we’ll assess your application by combining a number of different factors.
