"LCP has a very good training programme. There was a very good induction programme with all of the graduates at the beginning of the scheme and then once we split off into our departments the General Insurance specific training - both graduate and whole department - is really interesting. There is also plenty of opportunity to go to external training sessions and give training yourself."

"Training over the first few years is fantastic. Some of the partners who give training are leading national authorities in their fields. Study support for the Actuarial exams is also really good."

"A lot of graduate training sessions are held, along with three/four lunchtime sessions a month for the wider team on insurance topics."

"The in-house training is fantastic, and covers everything required to perform well in the office."

"In your first two weeks as a graduate, there is lots of training. There was training about LCP in general and more specific training about general insurance, for example introduction to reserving and introduction to reinsurance. Throughout the year, training continues and is based on more complex topics."

"All graduates receive training on a variety of computer packages including MS Word and Excel and then are given department specific training."

"The graduate training programme is three years long. It includes technical training sessions on Pensions and also more general sessions for example presentation skills training. LCP will also support you through taking your Actuarial exams."

"Training is great. Not only is there a structured training programme but there is a lot of on-the-job coaching which is great."

"You receive graduate training when you start, and then have to take either the Actuarial or CFA qualifications (fully paid for by the firm), to further your development."
Graduate, London
"The graduate training programme is very impressive and is in tandem with the training given to the team as a whole in lunch time sessions. There are usually three or four of these sessions a month."
