Risk Internship

Discover where a Risk internship can take your career

Are your ready to put your analytical thinking, and planning skills, into practice? Do you like problem-solving in an ever-changing environment? If you’re also interested in the world of finance, you should apply for a Lloyds Banking Group Risk Internship Programme.

With over 30 million customers and a relationship with almost every household and community in the UK, Lloyds Banking Group makes a difference in the lives of millions of people. We strive to be the best bank for customers, and our Risk team helps us achieve this by ensuring our business remains adaptable to change and resilient against risks.

Our 10-week paid internship is designed to give you valuable insights into our business, our diverse teams, and your strengths. You could work with teams dealing with large commercial contracts, or in our customer-facing areas, such as with our commercial banking relationship managers. Wherever you’re based, this is an exciting opportunity for you to discover more about what matters to you in a career and the areas you’d like to work in, when you graduate.

Plus, you’ll start shaping your knowledge in an environment that supports your development. You’ll take part in masterclasses, and receive training and mentoring from experienced business leaders that will inspire you to develop as a person and a professional.

We’re interested in your unique skills and passions: any degree, any university, and all your interests. Whether a keen traveller, gym-junkie, film-buff or party planner – whatever shapes you, will shape us and our future organisation. You will however need to be in your penultimate year of study, and on track to receive a 2:2 degree or above. And, if you impress us, you could be offered a place on our Graduate Leadership Programme.
