Graduate Insurance Programme
Exploring space. Launching new robotic technology. Hosting huge international sporting events. None of this would be possible without the cover Lloyd’s provides. As the global leaders in specialist insurance, we cover new and complex risks around the world – and beyond – from driverless cars and cyber crime, to space tourism.
The Graduate Insurance Programme
This two-year programme is designed to equip graduates with everything they need to pursue a successful career in the specialist insurance industry. It will help you discover the path where your expertise lies, and also provide you with the skills, experience and contacts to pursue it.
What you’ll do
Over the course of 24 months, you’ll complete four immersive placements in Claims, Broking, Underwriting and the Lloyd’s Corporation itself.
You’ll handle claims ranging from theft and misadventure to tragedy and catastrophe. You’ll analyse clients’ needs and place their cover. You’ll join an underwriter to assess and price specialist risk. And you will work with the corporation itself, on anything from assessing global regulatory requirements and emerging risks to playing a role in how the market is being transformed.
You will emerge from the programme with not only an internationally respected ACII qualification, but also valuable soft-skills in teamwork, leadership and communication.
What we’re looking for
We welcome graduates with a degree in any subject, from maths and science, to English and philosophy. You just need a 2:2 or above and a genuine passion for Lloyd’s and what we do.
