"My hours are 8.30 am to 5.30 pm with a shorter working day on Friday and every other Friday off. Overtime can be requested if required but it must be justified. Any extra hours worked can either be given as extra in your monthly wage or added to your holiday hours."
Graduate, Ampthill
"The hours are very flexible. You are able to start when you want so long as you work the set hours each week."
Mid level, Whiteley
"Although we don't operate flexi-time, most managers are reasonably relaxed about the odd late morning as long as you make up the time."
Graduate, Bedford
"We get every other Friday off. The flexi-time is great as you can start when you want and finish when you want, as long as you get your hours done."
Graduate, Havant
"We have a nine-day fortnight so you work 8.5 hours a day and get every other Friday off. The Friday you do have to work every other week is only seven hours long. The hours are great and they can be flexible depending on you manager."

"Lockheed offers a 9/75 working schedule. What that means is that we do 75 hours a fortnight spread over nine working days with every other Friday off. You are able to work from home and can very easily mould your working hours around other commitments in your life."
Graduate, Havant, UK
"There's some flexibility but the opening hours of the office somewhat dictate the hours to be worked."
Graduate, Gloucester
"We get every other Friday off, which is very good! Some managers are more flexible and, if you need to leave early one day, you can make the time up another day but this is between the employee and manager."
Graduate, Ampthill - Bedfordshire
"Flexibility is based on manager preferences. The company works on a nine-day fortnight where employees work longer days Monday to Thursday and then one Friday is shorter and the other Friday in the fortnight is a non-working Friday."
Graduate, Ampthill
"While the company does not operate a 'clock-in' system, each member of permanent staff is contracted to work for a set amount of hours each day. In the event of personal circumstances, or just unforeseen events (heavy traffic), managers tend to be very understanding and accommodating. Every second Friday is given as time off. This does not affect an employee's annual leave and is a very popular arrangement."
