Transformation Project Graduate – Stansted
Join us as a Stansted Transformation Project Graduate and be part of the team that deliver and operationalise the £600M investment programme currently taking place at Stansted Airport, which will see the development of a purpose-built arrivals facility and substantial changes to the International departures lounge, ensuring we remain one of the leading global airports and cement ourselves as one of the largest Airports in the South East.

Throughout the two-year programme, you’ll rotate across key placements within both our Business Change and Construction Delivery teams, developing your skills in project management and your experience in managing large scale change, preparing your for a substantive role as a Project Manager in MAG.
During your time in Business Change, you will support on the development of our business requirements to deliver an improved customer experience, enhanced facilities and better operational performance. It will involve stakeholder management, communicating the programme to all interested parties, whether that be colleagues, customers, service partners or the local community. It will also involve bringing our enhanced and expanded terminal buildings into operational readiness by scenario testing for a range of operational issues, and supporting the familiarisation of our workforce with the new area they will work in, in preparation for opening.
During your time in our Construction Delivery team, you will work closely with our construction and engineering partners to develop the scheme and project manage elements of the wider transformation programme. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced project managers to support the full lifecycle of a project and develop your understanding of our asset base and the customer journey.
We’ll also support you in studying towards a Project Management qualification in preparation for your substantive role.
We are not looking for a specific degree background, although you’ll need to bring with you a minimum of a 2:1, and some project management experience or business understanding would be advantageous. Well developed numerical skills will also be important.
You’ll need to have excellent analytical skills and be detail oriented, as well as have the ability to manage your workload and time effectively in the face of conflicting priorities and timescales.
Most importantly, you’ll need to be a confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships across the many business areas you will work with, as well as make an impact at all levels of business, compiling and presenting material convincingly to both peers and senior management.

You'll also have to be prepared to work at other UK airports in the group, as well as internationally too.
