"Always expect questions on 'why law' and 'why Mayer Brown'. The interview is a friendly chat with two partners and competency questions will form part of it - but will be well disguised and you will probably not notice them. Remember STAR technique when answering (Situation, Task, Activity, Result). Eye contact and smiling is very important. Ultimately the partners are looking for a certain type of person - friendly and positive; someone who will fit in."
