"Most teams are small and collaborate with other small teams. This builds good relationships within teams and there are often team socials. There are also sports and social clubs for those with a common hobby."

"Each of MBDA's sites has a different 'feel' and the structure depends on your department. Overall though people are happy to help you and answer your questions, no matter how simple. Departments have various nights out and meals throughout the year. On top of that you have the graduate network which is very strong at MBDA."
Graduate, Bolton
"I have found that teamwork has been very good since I started here."

"Teams within the company can vary in terms of their culture and the number of social events they have. There are many sports teams, theatre trips etc that are company-wide, as well as small team social evenings."
Graduate, Stevenage
"Very friendly and generally helpful. I would say there are still some walls to overcome but, with increasing numbers of new hires, the culture is constantly changing."
Graduate, Stevenage
"There are sports clubs as well as some social groups which meet more regularly and help create a good working environment. Also people tend to be approachable and it's easy to work your way around getting to know different teams and individuals."

"This is very department-dependent and different teams work differently. Almost everyone I have worked with has been social, friendly and easy to work with. The company is relatively flat so there's no significant pressure from the hierarchy system."
Graduate, Bristol
"We have very friendly co-workers, and managers are supportive and listen to your needs, and more experienced engineers are happy to pass on knowledge to the grads. There is a lot of socialising outside the office between the grads on the scheme, and many teams also have regular nights out together."
Graduate, Stevenage
"Flexitime allows a good work/life balance. Socialising whilst on the graduate scheme with other grads is very easy, but within the office it depends on what team you are in."
Midlevel, Stevenage
"The social side of work is very good with regular team activities and a very active and social squash league. In the office, cooperation and teamwork is great within the department and in my experience management has been good."
Graduate, Bristol
"The company has a very good social environment. The people are extremely friendly, and very easy to get on with both inside and outside of work. There is a very strong graduate community, with regular events including Christmas meals and even a ski trip. There is also an extremely popular squash league which has been really good for meeting new people around the company."
Graduate, Bristol
"Everyone in the company, at all levels, is used to working alongside graduates, however experienced they may be. There are lots of other graduates within the company so you can easily find others in a similar situation to yourself. Everyone in the team is happy to support others with their work in my experience."
Graduate, Stevenage
"The company has a friendly working atmosphere, where everyone in the ofice helps each other. There is also a very social atmosphere."
Intern, Stevenage
"The company is full of delivery driven, highly competent engineers. There is a good culture of trust and support, and a significant drive to pass on information to the younger generation."
Entry level, Stevenage
"The company uses flexi-time, which allows a lot of freedom. There is a strong emphasis by the company on socializing with the other graduates to promote teamwork."
