Graduate Team Leader

We supply premium tier products to some of the major UK retailers and Food to Go outlets, in both retailer own brand and the UK’s largest sandwich brand, Ginsters.

As a newly recruited graduate, your role will oversee one of the business’s product lines, dealing with product flow, quality and customer demand. You’ll get the opportunity to manage a team of up to 25 people, develop their performance and work towards becoming a leader within the business.
Your responsibilities will extend to running a production line, meeting line plans, minimising downtime, improving performance and efficiencies, whilst reducing costs where possible. Melton Foods will support your professional development throughout your tenure, leading to new opportunities within the business including, but not limited to, progression towards Area Manager.
What we are looking for:
Academically, we are looking for CCC (or higher) at A-level and a 2:2 degree (or higher) from any discipline completed within the last 3 years. Our sites are often in rural areas of the UK and therefore it is a requirement that you have a Full UK Driving Licence in order to get to work and travel between sites. You will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Salary and benefits:
