We’re looking for smart, friendly and passionate people to join one of the UK’s biggest and most highly regarded search marketing teams.
You will work with a bunch of clients from big to small and spanning a wide range of sectors. For every high-street retailer that you might work on as part of a bigger team, you’ll also have niche independents who’ll you’ll directly manage and who’ll cherish you as one of their own. This diversity makes for a different experience every day, and is one of the many benefits of agency life.
Regardless of who your clients are, the key is making sure they end every day (and week, and month) feeling valued, supported and well-managed. A warm, fuzzy feeling if you will. You’ll be charged with taking their objectives and building an approach to achieve them. This could include creating new campaigns from scratch or editing existing ones if you feel that’s necessary.
Once your campaigns are live, the job is simple: Make sure they continue to do better! You’ll analyse data, optimise campaigns, as well as keeping in touch regularly with your client to ensure they have the reports they need and understand what we’re doing to maximise their return on investment.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a clue where you’d start right now. We provide training to the highest level, all of which is developed and delivered in-house. Although there’s a lot to learn, there’s nothing to fear – we’ve worked hard to build a supportive work environment and help is always on hand. The learning doesn’t stop with your first few months; working in such a fast-paced environment means there’s always more to learn and we encourage everyone to contribute to the ongoing development of skills and knowledge within the team.

As such, we’re looking for enthusiastic people who are comfortable managing their own time, able to effectively prioritise work and recognise problems and opportunities to seek support as necessary.
We don’t need you to have worked in digital marketing before but there are some key requirements. Everyone that works in our search marketing team has their own clients which means that strong written and verbal communications are a requisite, as well as confidence in dealing with people at a range of different levels. You’re going to be optimising your campaign based on data; so whilst you don’t have to be Stephen Hawking, being comfortable with basic numeracy and spreadsheetery is really handy. Similarly, logic and reasoning skills are a must if you’re to effectively tackle a potential minefield of problems in a successful way. Finally – passion, ambition and curiosity are all great traits in any candidate as they demonstrate your ability to be a good team-player who will contribute to our ongoing success.
To demonstrate the above, we’re looking for you to have an outstanding academic record (remember, we love geeks!) including the following or equivalent:
- At least five grade As at GCSE
- Minimum of 320 UCAS points
- A degree classification of 2:1 or above at a top university (in any subject)
- Language skills are a huge plus, except perhaps Latin or Klingon.
We offer starting salaries of £22,000-25,000 depending on experience (think of all the Pot Noodles!) and an excellent package including 25 days’ holiday, a mobile phone and a company pension scheme.
Finally you must have permission to work in the UK (sorry, we’re not currently able to consider graduates who need sponsorship for visa purposes).
