Graduate Opportunity – Technical
Your expertise and advice can help our customers. By focusing on the technical side of things, you’ll get a first-hand look at our revolutionary business solutions and a say in how we make good products and services even better
Typical roles within the Technical stream are Support Engineers, Technical Evangelist and Technical consultant:
• Technical Consultant
Taking on a technical consulting role, you’ll get to grips with the world’s most advanced technologies, see new products come to market and introduce cutting-edge technology solutions to our customers.
• Support Engineer
As a support engineer, you are on the front lines of our customer support efforts. You’ll analyze technical software problems and develop solutions for a broad range of customers, taking on critical situations in technically challenging circumstances.
• Technical Evangelist
The goal of a Technical Evangelist is to accelerate the adoption of the Microsoft Platform and grow the ecosystem. An evangelist works to optimize our reach and impact by telling our story, creating excitement and awareness with students, developers, startups and IT Professionals.
Our graduates are placed into real job roles from day one and, alongside this, they are enrolled into the Microsoft Academy, based in America, which provides two international training weeks during their first 18 to 24 months. These bring together a community of thousands of graduates from over 60 countries, enabling them to build a global network of contacts and to gain exposure to real Microsoft business activities.
We want personable, responsible individuals who embrace connecting with people, respect listening to others and enjoy sharing new ideas.
Whichever stream you’re in, we’ll help you make the most of your talents with training that looks something like this:
- Learning through structured courses and role-specific training: 10%
- Learning from your manager, peers and mentor: 20%
- Learning on the job: 70%
Some of the highlights of your training will include:
- Five-day induction
