"The Cambridge building overlooks the Botanic Gardens (which we get free corporate passes to enter) and is a very modern building with excellent facilities. The dress code is smart but there is a summer dress code, which is appreciated. Throughout the year, the office holds dress down days to raise money for charity."

"It's like being outside all day; Botanic House really brings the outside inside. Location is great as we're just by the train station – only 45 minutes to London!"

"Our Norwich office is situated right next to the river – perfect for those sunny lunchtime strolls. The office is spacious and pleasant. The dress code is smart, as with many law firms. However, during the summer months, this is relaxed to an extent and we are permitted to wear cooler and more casual clothing."
Second year trainee, Norwich
"The office is in a great location, with good facilities for clients, but the back office is looking a little tired and in need of refurbishment."

"I'm in Cambridge so it is great. Other places are in need of a bit of a revamp, though this is in the process of being done. Dress code is quite informal really; I never wear proper suits any more, just a skirt/dress and a cardigan and keep a jacket in the office for meetings."

"The location of our Norwich office is excellent - right beside the river and close enough to town to enable a lunchtime jaunt. The office itself is relatively spacious and the only improvement which might be made is the inconsistent temperature within some of the departments."

"The Cambridge office is brand new and right next to the station with an easy walk into town. The dress code seems to vary depending on team but most people where suits. During the summer, there is a summer dress code of shirt and chinos."

"The Cambridge office moved into a brand new building two years ago. It is a fantastic modern office with great views - visitors are always very impressed! The dress code is more relaxed over the summer which is appreciated. We also have dress down days throughout the year to raise money for charity."

"My office is in a great location, but is a little bit tired inside. Luckily, a refurb is on the cards this summer. Dress code is smart, but trainees can feel free not to wear a tie (as long as they don't have a client meeting!)"

"The Norwich and Cambridge offices are very modern with excellent facilities. The Birmingham office is slightly outdated but is in the process of being refurbished. Office locations are excellent being very central and near train stations. The dress code is formal during the winter months but the firm does have a summer dress down policy subject to individuals having client meetings."
Second year trainee, Norwich
"Office space is good, although certain offices are getting a little crowded. I wouldn't want to change the location though! The open-plan offices are great learning environment for trainees. The dress code is professional, but we do have dress down days every month."

"The Birmingham office could do with a refurb but the layout is good - we have pods of four people, who will be varying in their level/job role. The location is fantastic - a prime spot in the middle of the business district and a stone's throw from town for lunchtime shopping."
Second year trainee, Birmingham
"The Cambridge office is an impressive new building close to the station with great facilities. Suits and ties or equivalent are expected for meetings, but otherwise it is possible to be less formal. Dress-down days happen every couple of months."

"The Norwich offices are about ten years old and fairly modern. The Cambridge office is brand new and is very nice. The dress code is formal unless stated otherwise."
First year trainee, Norwich
"The offices are in a great location but are in need of a bit of TLC in the working areas. The dress code is smart, but a tie is not always necessary (unless meeting with clients, etc.)."
First year trainee, Birmingham
"The dress code is smart but allows for personal touches, (no restrictions on shirts/colours, etc). I like the open plan set out of the office - I think that this lets you get to know colleagues at all levels much better and are given more work as a result because fee earners can see you working and know your capacity/training standard."
First year trainee, Norwich
"Good location for all our offices. The dress code is relatively smart."

"Cambridge has just moved to a brand new six floor office in the centre of Cambridge five mins walk from the train station. The facilities are new and modern."
First year trainee, Cambridge
"We've only just moved into a new office and it's brilliant. The decision to put the staff restaurant and the meeting rooms on the top floor was a very good one. The office move was handled exceptionally well and there is a genuine buzz of excitement in the new building. The dress code is relatively relaxed, although I still don't understand why we are allowed to dress down during the summer months only."
Second year trainee, Cambridge
"They are functional but probably in need of a refurbishment. The client meeting areas are simple but clean and tidy."
Second year trainee, Birmingham
"Visitors always comment on the building and how it looks. It is a very nice place to work. It is open-plan, with 'break-out' areas on each floor which you can use to discuss work with others. There are two kitchens on each floor with tea and coffee facilities and a fridge. The only downside is that there is no microwave. However, we do have a café downstairs, which serves hot food as well as sandwiches, fruit, salads and 'proper coffee' (not the instant kind!). Mills & Reeve staff enjoy an employee discount in the café, which is really reasonable. The building is located close to the city centre (about a 15 minute walk away)."
First year trainee, Norwich
"The office in Birmingham is in a great location. Each floor has its own kitchen area and there is also a canteen which provides freshly made meals. Shower facilities are also available and lockers for those who cycle into work. The dress code is smart."
First year trainee, Birmingham
"The areas the clients see are nicer than the offices themselves. Facilities are fine and location is excellent. The dress code is smart office wear (shirt and tie)."
