Technology Spring Insight

Morgan Stanley is more than a leading financial services firm. With offices spanning 41 countries and talented, passionate people bringing excellence and integrity to everything we do, the firm is truly global. Throughout the firm’s history, diverse and talented individuals have worked together to develop our new ideas and ground-breaking financial products.

Our Technology division partners with our business units and leading technology companies to redefine how we do business in ever more global and dynamic financial markets. Our sizeable investment in technology results in leading-edge tools, software, and systems. Our insights, applications, and infrastructure give a competitive edge to clients’ businesses—and to our own.

The three day Technology Spring Insight Programme runs in our London office in late March 2017. The programme gives an overview of our Technology department and the different areas that comprise the Division. Participants who excel will be extended an invitation to interview for the 2018 Technology Summer Analyst or Industrial Placement Programme.

Through a mix of lecture-based sessions, educational activities, projects and time spent shadowing a variety of groups, you will gain a real sense of whether a career in technology at an investment bank is right for you. In addition, there are numerous opportunities to meet and network with Morgan Stanley employees at all levels from our Technology Division. Over the course of the three day programme, participants will complete a technology related project in small groups.

Candidates must have an interest in technology and a desire for a technology career in the investment banking industry. You are ideally an undergraduate in your first year of a three-year degree of your second year of a four-year degree course. You are pursuing a degree in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or a related technology/science/engineering discipline.
