"A lot of the younger team members are women, so hopefully this will filter upwards."
Second year trainee, London
"I have found that diversity doesn't seem to be an issue at the company as neither gender, ethnicity nor sexual orientation are detrimental to obtaining and retaining work at Nabarro."
First year trainee, London
"There is clear support of diversity within the firm: from recruitment to the availability of paternity leave."
Second year trainee, London
"There are regular LGBT groups, talks about disabilities and encouragement to go out into the community to work for charities (we get give one day a year to go out and work in a charity)."
First year trainee, Sheffield
"There are a lot of committees for different people such as LGBT and ethnic minorities. The firm is very flexible on childcare and maternity leave."
First year trainee, Sheffield
"I am not massively aware of this in the firm, but I do know that they are committed to flexible working, fair maternity/paternity leave arrangements and are highly committed to maintaining extremely high trainee retention rates."
Second year trainee, London
"I am training as a solicitor following a career as an architect, so as an individual I am evidence of the firm's wish for a dynamic and diverse workforce."

"I hear that childcare and maternity leave is relatively inflexible. However, the firm has recently introduced a flexible working policy that is open to all employees."
First year trainee, London
"I am not really sure that the firm is particularly diverse but I know that they do run a diversity programme when recruiting trainees. There is an LGBT group at the firm and at the moment there is a campaign by Stonewall which is being publicised at the firm to raise awareness. There are still too few women at partner level to be encouraging. There are no childcare facilities at the firm."
First year trainee, London
"The firm's commitment to diversity is good, with several female partners and openness to LGBT. The flexible working appears to be limited however and this will need to be improved to retain staff with young families."
Second year trainee, London
"There are no women on this year's intake on the partner development programme - but I think this is representative of the industry as a whole."
Second year trainee, London
"I think the Sheffield office could have more ethnic minorities but I think that may be a reflection of the ethnic diversity in Sheffield in general."
Second year trainee, Sheffield
