Business Development & Account Management Executive

About the role: Navigate Video is looking for a passionate, hungry and driven individual to join their team as a Business Development & Account Management Executive.

This is an opportunity for the right person to kick-start their career in the digital industry and will allow them to get involved in all aspects of a small and exciting business. They will be required to turn their hand to many tasks and this will be rewarded by working within a great team who is dedicated to ensuring everyone learns and grows individually with the business.

The role will have many aspects and the successful individual will be expected to be involved in the following key areas:

Business Development:
- Prospecting and qualifying leads across a number of sectors
- Attending pitch meetings, taking minutes and actions as well as supporting any follow-up
- Making cold calls, arranging meetings for the Founder
- Researching and preparing presentations
- Attending conferences and industry events
- Conducting audits of potential clients and their digital channels, etc.

Account Management:
- Learning about online video strategy, being trained in Navigate Video’s methodology for delivering projects and insights
- Account management and client liaison in support of project delivery and new business
- Creating reports, collating data and preparing presentations
– using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Video and social media analysis, strategy and distribution support

- Creatively helping to design and improve presentations, our website, case studies, client work and other business materials
- Staying on top of the fast-moving industry news, sharing opinions, thoughts and insights to the team
- As your knowledge grows, there is the opportunity to put your thinking on paper to help market Navigate Video to our wider industry and business audiences
- Supporting the Founder and the Navigate Video team with various ad hoc operational, commercial and strategic projects

Term: The term will be for an initial three months trial period with a view to going full time following successful completion of the trial period.

Candidates would ideally have:
- Degree-level education
- Experience in a business environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Interested in digital, video, media, content marketing and the web
- Experience in video and social media platforms (for personal and/or business use)
- Foreign languages would be a bonus, but certainly not a requirement
