Research Officer/ Analyst - Regulatory Finance

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Research Officer/ Analyst to join the Regulatory Finance practice based in our London office.
Responsibilities may include analysis of financial market data; designing and building quantitative models and applying econometric analysis to economic and financial data; collecting market, industry, company, and competitor information; reviewing, summarising and analysing industry trends; managing large data sets and writing programs to implement complex analysis; creating trial exhibits; drafting memos, expert reports and presentation materials; and participating team meetings and conference calls. This is a team-based, multi-task environment that requires precision work that is both qualitative and quantitative often with tight deadlines.
Candidates should enjoy quantitative research, possess exceptional analytical skills and hold a Masters in Economics, Finance or a related discipline with exceptional academic records. Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented, able to think analytically and critically, and have excellent oral and written communication. Qualified candidates with one or two years relevant work experience in consulting would be preferred.
Business level English is required and fluency in other European languages would be an advantage. Some travel is likely.
