Business Applications Placements
The Nestle Business Applications teams play a vital role in supporting our Nestlé UK and Ireland businesses with the end to end systems and resources they use to perform their jobs.
On our 12 month Business Applications placement scheme you will play a key role within one of these teams and be involved in projects that will give you exposure across our business. You’ll increase your general business understanding and develop vital skills to start building your career.
What can you expect?
Working as part of team of Business Analysts, you will be providing essential support for the business and troubleshooting problems that arise within our systems as rapidly as possible. This involves helping to keep our employees connected and our systems and data safe and available around the clock, as well as undertaking critical business projects to improve the quality of service we provide to our consumers, customers and stakeholders. In the Ensuring Supply team, you will be responsible for supporting the Technical, Production & Supply Chain Operations with the systems they use throughout the UK and Ireland. You will work closely with the business to deliver approved projects and solutions across all of our category businesses, in a variety of functional areas including:
- Physical logistics
- Innovation & Renovation
- Planning and Procurement
In the Commercial team you will be part of a team responsible for supporting SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Field Sales Applications. Project work is a huge part of what we do and you will have the opportunity to be involved from day one, liaising with colleagues in other markets to resolve issues, testing new functionality and training subject matter experts. You will be supporting our Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that they can successfully execute promotional strategies, allowing Nestlé to remain the first choice for our customers.
Finance and Customer Service
In the Finance and Customer Service team you will be supporting the Order to Cash process, one of the 6 key process flows at Nestlé. We are responsible for all the order capture tools such as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), telesales and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) at one end of the flow and the Accounts Receivables and cash application at the other end of the flow. All aspects of Finance are supported including Accounts Payable, banking, factory costing and tax as well as Export and intermarket supply activities. Joining this team you will have the chance to understand what makes a business tick and play an active part in keeping the business moving. You will become equipped to work with all levels of the business and understand how priorities are translated into solutions for Nestlé.
