I’ve been with Nestlé for four years. My current role is planning and optimising maintenance for the Quality Street packing facility. Prior to that, I was a Project Engineer, managing investments across the three Nestlé confectionery sites.

I knew about the worldwide brands within the Nestlé portfolio and had heard about some of the great stuff they’d been doing in the news and, when they presented at my University, this gave me my first insight into the business.

The variation in my work means that every day is different and you always have to react and overcome different problems. I enjoy the challenge of being on the Frontline Maintenance team as there’s always something exciting going on.

I’ve had so many great experiences here that it’d be hard to pick out a single one, though taking part in a STEM mentoring scheme where I went to a local school as an industrial mentor made me immensely proud – especially as my team won the competition!

Developing people is definitely something I’d like to do as part of my role in the future, so I think I’d like to be a manager of a team. For now, a great day at work means accomplishing everything on my list – setting goals and exceeding and achieving them. I’d say that’s a job well done.
