"I work 9:00am-4:30/5:00pm with an hour's lunch break. Leaving a bit earlier on a Friday is fine, and coming in earlier and leaving earlier also fine, as long as work is completed."
Graduate, London
"My contracted hours are 8:00am-4:00pm but I work 7:00am-5:00pm. My employer tends to be very flexible with hours, and those who work longer hours are noticed for staying too long."
Entry level, Milton Keynes
"My hours are very flexible in my current role: the focus is on results at the right time rather than being sat 9:00am-5:00pm every day."
Graduate, Milton Keynes
"Network Rail is very understanding of the need for flexible working. Working from home is acceptable here if it is needed e.g. for a doctor's/dentist appointment."
Graduate, Milton Keynes
"My working hours at Network Rail are extremely flexible. I can start at 7:00am or 10:00am, as long as the minimal contracted hours are fulfilled."

"I work flexi-time - generally 8:00am-4:00pm, 9:00am-5:00pm. However, most managers don't mind too much what hours you do as long as you get the job done - e.g. if you're finished everything, leaving early isn't a problem."
Graduate, Milton Keynes
"My hours are generally flexible, and I usually work around 8:15am-4:30pm which is convenient as it works well with travel commitments."
