"Although I think some managers are out of touch with signallers and front line workforce, management staff are definitely good for graduates."
Graduate, London
"Managers are approachable but could use their time more effectively. They will make time for you if you ask for it but may not make it if you don't."
Entry level, Manchester
"Mentors do not have to be managers, there are plenty of people who I have taken advice from and seek opinions of with projects and career development. Allocated senior mentors can be harder to 'pin down' due to the nature of their role, and the employee plays a big part in keeping these lines of communication open (something I should have done better)."
Graduate, Milton Keynes
"There isn't an entirely consistent approach to feedback, as it depends how much effort your manager wants to put into it, mine is very good."
Graduate, Milton Keynes
"Management staff are usually very accessible, although they can be inconsistent across the organisation."
Graduate, Milton Keynes
"It's different to be in contact with very senior management, but there are often some initiatives such as the Your Voice survey which provides employees with the chance to provide feedback to managers and give suggestions on improvements."
