Operational Improvement Consultant

Newton work with clients during an assessment phase to understand what opportunities there may be for organisational or operational improvement. Once the improvements have been identified and quantified, agreed and signed off by the client, a team of Newton consultants work on site to deliver these.

Often working from Monday to Friday on the client site the consultants will take ownership for and personally deliver performance improvement within an area of the business.

They will make regular presentations to the client, explaining and defining what has happened and what the next stages will be.

Some of the more experienced consultants will manage a site wide project and mentor consultants working alongside them.

Client relationship management is an important aspect of this role.

Projects can last from weeks to months; the first assessment stage is usually weeks long and new consultants will often be part of the team going into a company to help identify the opportunities.

A broader remit of supporting the growth and development of the whole company is part of all consultants’ roles, whether this is working with the recruitment team to continue to find us great candidates or organising internal review meetings or social events.
