"I think that the diversity initiatives here are incomparable: the diversity networks are part of the furniture here, which is no bad thing. The women's and LGBT networks are particularly active; which is encouraging."

"There is a good gender and ethnic mix at the firm. I know a number of solicitors who are on maternity leave or with children working part-time, and feel confident that the firm can provide a role for someone with children."

"A huge number of women work for the firm at all levels. Maternity leave is common, and generally happily accepted. My intake is ethnically very diverse and in terms of background, everyone has come from very different walks of life. There are three gay people on my intake, which is more than any other firm on the Accelerated LPC (in spite of many of them having bigger intakes). These things are just not an issue here, everyone is very broad-minded."

"Norton Rose Fulbright genuinely cares about diversity. I feel like the firm is committed to helping to break the glass ceiling for female associates wishing to progress further in the firm. Even as a first seater I have encountered numerous female associates in my team who are working on flexible time so that they can look after children at home. The LGBT groups within the firm are active and are linked up internationally across the offices. The firm also ensures that its graduate recruitment sufficiently represents different minority groups. I was impressed at how diverse my trainee intake is."
