Graduate Analyst Programme
What does the programme involve?
Our analysts carry out a wide range of tasks designed to help keep the company on track including keeping track of all the complex costs of energy supply, helping to set prices and future strategy and forecasting future energy supply. You’ll work with a wide variety of teams, including operations, renewable energy and sales. Within your team you’ll be assigned a mentor who joined the company as a graduate analyst themselves, who will provide you with support and advice. In addition, you’ll receive regular training courses to equip you with the skills you need to succeed. The programme is primarily based in our Oxford office, with placements in our Northampton office.
How long does the programme last?
The programme lasts two years and consists of a series of three to six month long rotations within various areas of the business. You will primarily be based within our risk management team but you will also have the opportunity to spend time within departments such as renewables, operations and commercial.
What happens at the end of the programme?
By the end of the programme you’ll understand your key strengths and see where your skills fit within the business, so we’ll be able to identify an appropriate specialism with you. After the two years are up you’ll continue to develop your skills and experience, and we’d expect you to move into a senior analyst, team leader or management role.
