"We have a good office space and the dress code is very formal."

"The top floor of the office contains client meeting rooms while the other two floors make up the work space. Offices can be for one or two people and all trainees will share an office with their supervisor. The location is very central and convenient. The only downside of the office is that the shower space is a little small and it would be nice if there were a canteen."

"We take up the top three floors of our building and are based in between Bank and St. Paul's. The top floor is the client floor and boasts views of St. Paul's and the Shard. The eighth floor has a small outdoor balcony, which is accessible to all and can sometimes be quite busy as people rush to grab the slim pickings of the British summer. We have recently experienced a lot of upheaval in the office with floor space at a premium as we keep hiring. Partners are having their offices cut in two to accommodate the growing number of fee earners, which is a really good sign going forward. We do not have any on-site facilities specifically for Orrick, but the building does have a bike garage and showers in the basement. There are plenty of places to grab lunch around Cheapside and a few places to drink as well, ranging from casual pubs to fancy bars at Madison's and The Ned."

"The London office is based in Cheapside and is very close to Bank underground station. This is a fantastic location for an office with lots of shops, food options, pubs and bars very nearby as well as some green spaces and interesting buildings such as St. Paul's. The office itself is very nice with a logical layout. It feels very open as offices are glass-fronted and the legal secretaries and paralegals sit in an open-plan area. There is a kitchen with a fridge and microwave but there isn't a canteen. The dress code is business smart but men do not have to wear a tie."
"Our office space and location is good but the shower facilities could be improved."

"The office is very comfortable and well located. The dress code is traditional City business wear."
Second year trainee, London
"We have a great location in the heart of the City with excellent transport links. There are also lots of places to grab food nearby."
First year trainee, London
"Great location in Cheapside. We're spoiled for choice when it comes to food and drinking venues. The dress code is business smart – you are not expected to wear a suit every day but make sure you are dressed appropriately to be attending last-minute client meetings."
Second year trainee, London
"The office space is nice. We are on the top three floors of an office in Cheapside. Everything is fairly new and in good condition – we have balconies on both floors and the location is very convenient. There are bike racks and showers in the basement. The dress code is business attire without a dress down Friday."
First year trainee, London
"We're in a great location on Cheapside. The client floor is very nice. We're running out of space a little on the work floors but there are plans to expand the office."
First year trainee, London
"Orrick has an awesome location on Cheapside and there are many good restaurants and bars nearby. The office space surrounds an atrium and feels very open, which is nice. The dress code is smart, although more relaxed in certain departments. No dress down Fridays."
Second year trainee, London
"The location of the office is excellent. The dress code is relatively formal but the vast majority of the office do not wear ties."

"The office is beautiful and beautifully located opposite St Mary-le-Bow. However we're getting too big for the space and it won't be long before we need to move locations. The dress code varies from partner to partner and department from department."
Second year trainee, London
"Our office is round and very spacious. We work in individual offices or offices with two people in them but the office feels very open. The location on Cheapside is amazing, very central in the thick of the City and with a brilliant selection of restaurants and bars around for socializing. The dress code is smart."

"The firm's offices are in a really good location in terms of commuting, restaurants and shops. The offices are very spacious. Each floor has a small kitchen and seating area but there is no canteen. The dress code is reasonably formal for trainees but the dress code across the whole firm is more relaxed."
First year trainee, London
"The office is well-located and generally well kitted-out. The dress code does vary slightly between departments. On the whole it is smart (suits and ties) and trainees are always expected to be well-presented."
Second year trainee, London
"Fantastic office which has beautiful views of St. Paul's, I can see the Shard from my office! Convenient location to commute into or for going out after work. The dress code is smart business - you never know when you may be pulled into a client meeting!"
First year trainee, London
"Comfortable offices and a pleasant environment on Cheapside. There are two office floors and a client floor. The dress code is business formal with some variation between departments."

"The location is great; very central with lots of restaurants and bars, and the facilities have everything that we need and are well maintained. Trainees share an office with an associate or someone of counsel. The dress code is formal office wear."
First year trainee, London
"Everything functions very efficiently in the office. The dress code varies between departments - it is smarter in corporate than real estate and is generally dictated by the kind of clients you are working with."
First year trainee, London
"The firm's office is lovely and convenient. Its client facilities are, perhaps, a little small in my opinion, but generally everything is very nice. The dress code is city smart and what you can get away with wearing casual - it depends a lot on your supervisor and your department."
